Kristin Gawley

President / Creative Director / Account Director

Kristin Gawley has extensive experience in the design of business communications and branding. She started K. Gawley Design in 2002. She has partnered with a variety of business owners, corporations, colleges, and non-profits.  Kristin specializes in logo design, corporate branding, collateral materials, product design, book covers, homepage design of websites and music album packaging.

From 1995 to 1998 she was a graphic designer at Barnes & Company in Nashville, Tennessee.  Working within the music industry she gained knowledge of packaging and advertising design while working on tight deadlines.  From 1998 to 2001, Kristin was a senior designer at one of the country's leading design studios, Grafik, in Alexandria, Virginia.  Her projects included annual reports, logo design and corporate identities.  Since opening her own studio, Kristin's work has ranged from logo design to corporate branding materials.

Kristin's work and creativity has been recognized.  She has won the following awards:

• AIGA/Washington Biennial Top Fifty Award of Excellence
• Neenah Paper Awards Silver Medal
• American Association of Museums Award of Excellence
• Ad Club of Nashville Certificate of Excellence

She studied Graphic Design at the Art Institute of Boston and O'More College of Design in Franklin, Tennessee.  Born in Pensacola, Florida and raised in New England, Kristin lives with her husband and children in Danbury, Connecticut.
